Bruschetta Burgers



Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
3 teaspoons montreal steak spice
6 focaccia bread mayonnaise
basil pesto
sliced fresh mozzarella cheese
olive oil
tomato bruschetta topping (recipe to follow)

Directions
1. Combine ground beef, steak spice. Form into patties with an indentation in the middle. Barbeque patties over medium heat on barbeque turning frequently for approximately 5 minutes per side. 2. In the mean time prepare brushetta recipe. 3. Prepare focaccia bread. On bottom half of the bun, spread the mayonnaise and top with mozzarella cheese. Heat bun until cheese is melted. Brush top half of the bun with olive oil and heat until golden brown. Place the cooked burger patty atop the side of the bun with the mozzarella cheese on it. Top the burger patty with basil pesto followed by Bruschetta, approximately 1-2 tbsp to taste.

Bruschetta

Ingredients

2 tomatoes, diced & seeded
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic cloves
1/8 tsp seasoning salt
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon green onions

Directions

1. Combine ingredients.
