1 lb. fresh baby carrots
potatoes for your family
1- 4 oz can mushrooms, drained
1- 3 lb. beef roast
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/4 t pepper
1 T oil
1 jar beef gravy (I used the dry mix from Costco and increased the water)
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 C water
1 envelope onion soup mix
Place carrots, mushrooms and potatoes in slow cooker.
Sprinkle roast with garlic powder and pepper.
In a large skillet, brown roast in oil on all sides.
Transfer to slow cooker.
Combine the gravy, mushroom soup, water and onion soup mix and pour over roast.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
Skim fat from gravy if necessary, serve gravy with meat and vegetables.
Perfect gravy and easy, complete meal.
