Indian Rice

Heat 1 T oil and saute 1 t cumin and 1 t Garam Masala  and stir to temper spices.
Add 1 small onion and cook until translucent.
Add 2 C rice and 6 C water
Stir in 1 1/2 t. salt
Cook in rice cooker until tender.
I used brown rice and it was the best brown rice I have ever eaten.
