TACO SOUP

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lg. onion, chopped
2 16-oz. cans stewed tomatoes
2 (16-oz. cans tomato sauce
1 pkg or 1 T taco seasoning mix ( I use it to taste)
1 or 2 cans undrained red kidney beads (I use 1 red and 1 black)
2 C water
8 oz,carton dairy sour cream
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
Fritos

In a 5-6 Qt. saucepan brown ground beef with onion; stir and break up meat as it cooks.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, beans and water. Heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring sometime to keep it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Flavor develops as you let it sit. Good to make in the morning for supper. Serve with chips, sour cheem and shredded cheese. Leftovers freeze nicely.
