Luscious Slush Punch

Made this punch for the R.S. party I was in charge of and it was really yummy!

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 5 Minutes Ready In: 8 Hours 20 Minutes
Servings: 50

"A fruity concoction is frozen into a slush and then placed in a punch bowl with carbonated beverage. Makes enough for 2 punch bowls."

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups white sugar
6 cups water
2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry Jello
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
2/3 cup lemon juice
1 quart orange juice
2 (2 liter) bottles Sprite

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, water, and strawberry Jello. Boil for 3 minutes. Stir in pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Divide mixture in half, and freeze in 2 separate gallon ziploc bags.
2. When ready to serve, place the frozen contents of one bag in a punch bowl, and stir in 1 bottle of Sprite until slushy.

Note: Either take the slush out of the freezer a couple hours before, or microwave to get it to the "slushy" stage from the "solid" stage!
