This is actually a recipe I got from Mom, but she hasn't posted it so I will! It is SOO quick and easy, but tastes like a good homemade meal! And the best part is that my kids will eat the vegetables!!
Ingredients:
2 frozen pie shells (I like Marie Callendar's)
1 bag frozen peas and carrots
2 chicken breasts
chicken bullion
corn starch
Directions:
1. Get out pie shells to thaw.
2. Cut up chicken into small cubes.
3. Boil.
4. Add peas and carrots to boiling chicken and cook until all are done.
5. Pour off excess water until there is just enough water to cover ingredients.
6. Add chicken bullion to flavor.
7. Add corn starch to thicken gravy.
8. Pour in pie crust.
9. Cover with second pie crust.
10. Bake until pie crust is golden brown.
11. Serve and enjoy!
