1/2 C water
1/2 C soy sauce
1/2 C sugar ( I just used about 2 T of brown sugar)
grated ginger root (I used about 4 slices)
1-2 minced green onions
2 t sesame oil
(I added a bit of lime juice- Julie Britsch's recipe has 2 T malt vinegar and sesame seeds)
When finished marinating the meat, cook the sauce thoroughly and thicken to poor over cooked meat if you wish.
