Spaghetti-Crust Pie

Ingredients:
6 oz. spaghetti
2 T butter 2 eggs
1/3 C grated Parmesan cheese 3 T dried onion
½ lb. browned ground beef 1 8-oz. can pizza or spaghetti sauce
3 rectangular slices of Mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Cook the spaghetti, drain well by letting it stand for a few minutes. Put into a large mixing bowl. Stir the butter into the hot spaghetti with a rubber scraper until the butter melts.
Crack the eggs into a small bowl and beat lightly till whites and yolks are mixed well. Add Parmesan cheese to the eggs and mix. Pour egg-cheese mixture over spaghetti in bowl. Mix well.
Grease a 9-inch pie plate then pour the spaghetti mixture into the pie plate and press it with the back of a spoon to form it into a crust, building up the sides.
Mix onion, meat and sauce together and then fill the crust.
While pie is baking at 350 degrees for 20 minute,s cut each cheese rectangle in half diagonally so that you now have 6 triangles. Pull the pie from the oven, place the 6 cheese slices around the pie so each of 6 pieces will have a slice. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the cheese has just melted. ( I have put ricotta or cottage cheese in with the crust more like lasagna. )
